We connect the Iraqi diaspora in the U.S. with Iraqi civil society organizations in Iraq who need their support.

PHOTOVOICE

A participatory research project that teaches young people how to use the power of photography and their own voices to address issues important to them and their country.

TENT/ED

In April 2014, at the request of U.S. Army Iraq War veteran Zack Bazzi and a coalition of fellow veterans and humanitarians, EPIC launched Tent/ED. This rapid-impact initiative worked alongside key partners like the International Volunteers of Yamagata (IVY) to identify and address critical barriers—such as the prohibitive cost of bus transportation—facing Syrian refugee children in Iraqi Kurdistan. Leveraging military experience and local networks, the project delivered tailored resources from school supplies and uniforms to transportation and teacher stipends, creating stable learning environments.
